Our Why? – Our Vision: To develop models by which disadvantaged zones of villages, towns and cities in India and other developing countries can transition to be clean and healthy places to live.
Our How? – Our Missions: – To develop effective solutions for problems related to sanitation, waste management and hygiene behaviour, which are environmentally friendly and socially just – adapted to rural, peri-urban and urban zones where the poor live.
– To teach stakeholder groups such as children, youth, communities and practitioners good practices related to water, sanitation, waste management, hygiene behaviour and community engagement for a cleaner world.
To these ends, FIN is active in the development of frugal innovations, community actions, education and social science research.
