It’s not easy to have a meet and greet session with all interns when some are in California, USA, while others are in different parts of India and a third group is in Europe! So it was 10 PM Friday night for the youngsters from University of Southern California (USC), 10.45 AM Saturday for the other youth in India from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Puducherry, Madras School of Social Work (MSSW), the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) and Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) and 7 AM for those from University College of Maastricht (UCM) and me.
BUT WE DID IT! We started the meet and greet session by putting pairs in break-out rooms on zoom and getting them to introduce each other with their personal story of the last two months. Then Jubin (NIT) gave a brilliant presentation about FIN. This was followed by a discussion. The training bit of the internship will continue over the coming weeks. Soon you’ll get to know all of them too and their work! So watch this space – good things will continue to happen!
Thank you
